I would like to know how the ice conditions are? Also how was the fishing, what lakes did you fish and how well you all did?

I fished Island lake and Diamond lake in Minnehaha county. Started fishing Island lake at 7:30am on the north side of the road. Marked only a couple fish on the Vexilar. I tried 3 different spots. Went to the south side by Island lake at 11:30am. Marked a bunch of fish on vexilar but couldn't get them to bite. Saw one guy catch three perch there.
Went to Diamond lake started fishing about 2pm. The first spot I tried I caught a 6lb carp on a cast master in ten feet. Tried that spot for 45 minutes. I moved in closer to shore in 9 feet of water. I could see bottom with fish house set up. I could see perch down there. Didn't get a bite till 4:45pm it was a nine inch perch. Had about 6 bites in the last hour. I had a small walleye that got off and missed the other bites.
Ice is about 8 to 10 inches. High temps in the 40's for the rest of this week.
