Hey Bernie. Your the guide up there right?

When do you think the fishing will pick up? Is the slow fishing right now out of the ordinary for this time of year?

I fished granby with my dad on the 28th of dec. we were there about 4 hours caught three lakers one was 6" the other two were aprox. 21" we fished in rainbow bay in 32' of water. The ice was really thin maybe 4 to 6 inches. Some guy came up to us on a snowmobile and the ice started to crack and water was coming up thru our holes. D.T. I fish therefore I lie!!!!

I hear ya Bernie, there are alot of slob fisherman in our ranks that will kill everything, no matter how scarce or valuble those fish are! Isn't there any way the locals and business's up there can get the regs changed back? The lakers are really the only fish that get big there. I heard that a couple of Pike were caught there in the last year, is that true? What a disaster that would be!!
