Does anybody know where I can buy live Sucker minnows in the 6-8 inch range. I know Bennetts in Berthoud has live suckers but I rarely get up that way.
Most of the shops around here sell either frozen freezer burned Suckers or Sucker meat. I would like to buy some nice live Suckers and freeze them myself.

I've seen them at Huron Bait and Tackle which is now located on Washington street in Thornton. That was a year ago...

Hey Neal,
Try Common Sense tackle at 285 and Federal I've seen them there before. Also All Pro has them from time to time. Have you been out at all?

I went to Elevenmile two weekends ago and got skunked. I had a big trout on for a brief second but lost it. I will probably head to the hills this weekend? Thanks for the info.

I forgot to mention that the Alpine Angler on Chambers Road in Aurora carries adjustable quick strike rigs tied on #6 and 4 treble hooks. They are also only $1.00 each.

I used to buy live suckers from Common Sense. Heard recently that
they are going out of business.

Bill's is on North Washington St. Get off of I25 at 58th and East to Washington St. I believe that it is at about 60th, so you only need to go a couple of blocks North on Washington (just across the railroad track).

Nope....Bill's is south of 58th avenue. Turn South on Washington and it is more than a few blocks. It is towards the bottom of the hill on the West side of the road. I'm sure the address is in the phone book.

6001 N. Washington is the address. 2 blocks North of
58th. Merle wouldn't get much business if everyone turned
South off of 58th.

Did he move? It's been a few years since I've been there, But I could have sworn it was south of 58th. Down the hill past the Corvette Conection and A1-Driveshaft.
