hey all im lookin for a 14-16'aluminum V bottom boat, i guess u could call it a stripped down model. nothing fancy, just lookin for something for like $500 or like 1000 with a trailer something like an older lund, starcraft, sears, whatever...Lookin to power it with a 25 tiller so no console..i guess they call these utility boats...any ideas of where to look...ive been on boat trader with little success...
im just gonna be using it to fish local lakes and rivers here in PA.

Might sound funny, but look on ebay. I recently sold a 12 ft rowboat and motor there. Never know, might be something in your area.

Im in pymatuning. You might try Haines Marina. I bought a 16'trihull with trailor there for $600. The moter is what kills you around here.

Hello-
I'm getting in on this thread a few days late but I am also looking for a 14' v-hull alum....I only need the boat. I have a new 9.9 johnson, battery/trolling mtr/rod holders etc....and a trailor.
I am over in Ravenna, Oh area which is only about an hour from Pymy.
A new 14' from Meyer is goin' for about $1,100 i think....that is what I am leaning towards but will consider other possibilities for a reasonable price....

Jeff, this guy has, or at least had an older starcraft 14 footer on a homemade trailer with a trolling motor (electric) for 450$. Plain jane like you said. Maybe he still has it.
