April is a better month the Ice will be gone and the Walleye fishing should be pretty good then and I would like to suggest Richters cottages on state rte.322 Jamestown Pa.Good people Tell Dave that Frank Maloney recemended them also the price is about $25-$30 a day for a small cottage some have kitchens. Here is the phone number let me noif you have any trouble with this phone number if so I will get you another number.

Ron, down at the south end there are cabins some of them almost lakefront i think its a state operations? these are log cabins and from the outside thay are great looking and the surrounding area is also pretty, as far as timimg goes if your going in march or april, i would try to plan around right after ice out, the fish are eager and the fishing is easy won,t take much to catch fish they,ll catch you, i have a place up there but when i ride by those cabins i tell the wife i would like to rent one for the weekend because they look so inviting, remember the sooner after ice out the better. i beleive thats a state park down there and it would be P.A. hope this helps.
Tom

for a reasonable rate and great food try ciannci,s motel and bar &resturant. about 16 miles from the lake rt. 58 east out of greenville @ the top of the hill.
hello again, i got on a site with a list of places to stay. has anyone
ever stayed at any of the places at the north end of lake. i read
that this lake can get rough if windy, was concerned how long
of a boat ride it would be going from south to the north end of lake?

Hi Ron Me again
By boat to the very northern end of the lake its takes about 45 min under fair weather cond.depending on size of boat.you can pull your boat and be there much faster.I dont no much about lodging in the north end of the lake but you can find more information at www.pymatuninglake
