Just purchased some land on Ottertail lake in ottertail county Mn. After a lot of poking around with the locals and the intenet sites I found that the lake is a good producer of walleyes. Does any one have any 1st hand experience with this lake and any tips regarding openeing day spots etc. Thanks for any tips you can provide

Ya walleyedaddy I have a honey hole. Been fishing it for years only on opener. Start at midnight limit by 12:30.
18 inch fish all the same size range.
I would love to disclose it to you ... but as you can see im new to the site .... and Im not quite comfortable divulging such privilaged information.
BUT....fishing on opener... Look for a 19 foot Green Pro-V IFS .... Its will be the one with 4 guys hootin and hollaring in.
If you can find me ... Ill set you on the right track.

If you cant find me ... Try fishing with White 1/4 oz. mister twister or Gold Huskie Jerk .. old faithful would be the fireball 1/4 oz jig with a shiner minnow... good luck on your recent purchase ... its a KICKASS lake .. once you find the fish.
