I just wondering how the low water tables are going to affect the walleye this summer. Last summer they were 18 inches to 2 ft. below normal. This year the predictions are another 2ft. lower. We have not had enough snow or rain in the last two years to sustain the water levels. I`m talking about lake michigan and the rivers in the Grand Rapids, Mi. area. Any thoughts on this would be helpful, thanks in advance.

My feelings exactly. I had great success up until last year, then the eyes went to another area. A two foot drop in lake level could mean a 5-10 mile difference away from a thermocline zone that you would normally be fishing in. Just pray for rain (or snow), and hope for the best.....
