woodman up until now its been hard water, not sure whats its like right now with the way the temps have been.

I was out there yesterday. 90 % of the ice is gone on the south end of the lake. North end still has a lot of ice on it. we ended up catching 5 keepers and 7 short ones.

What were you using as bait?
Last year Fuzzy Grubs with a fat head was good bait.

Floating jigheads tipped with fatheads. I hope this cold snap did not put the ice back on the lake. The water temp was between 33-34 degrees all day.

Where were u fishing at?. North...South? Gettting any crappies yet?

I just read a reply about ice on the north end of Pymatuning. Is this true? I would love to give it a try if it is.
