Our group usually fishes Pymatuning mid May and stay at park cabins but when calling for reservations were told the cabins were going to be closed till sometime in July due to a new sewage system being installed. My question is : anyone know of alternate lodging for a week or 1/2 week? You can't beat the cabins for price. It usually is about $30. per head for a 3 night stay in the 6 man cabins and they are pretty darn nice! As for the fishing, we do pretty well drifting jigs on Hemlock sunken island in 5 to 8 ft. of water in the sparse weed beds. Always look forward to this trip after a long winter. as for the lodging we are open to rental houses by the week or motels or whatever.

timbo, Are you referring to the OH state park cabins? Sorry to hear that. I was just getting ready to call for any openings in June.

Tom I was thinking about Shore Haven Cottages. Are they in good shape? And will they sleep 4 adults?
