I am going up to Red Lake next weekend for some slab crappies. Has anyone been up there recently? What are you using and what hours have been the most productive for the crappies? Any information would be appreciated.

THe south shore is where you want to go. Use LARGE glow in the jigs. Large size Demon is working excellent. The best times for us has been around 6:00 pm till they quit biting-usually a couple hours. The key is to not sit in one place any longer than fifteen minutes once 6:00 rolls around. The fish are there and are biting but you have to be on them to catch 'em. Good luck.
