Does anyone fish the rocks on mille lacs anymore? A lot of discussion about mud has been going on. Just got back yesterday and dropped a 31 1/4 eye at the taxidermists. We fished 26 feet 2 miles out from big point with a perminant house. Been fishing the spot all winter with lots and lots of walleyes. Fatheads on color jigs under bobbers is all it takes. I know mille lacs very well and mud is great but dont overlook the rocks! Oh caught the trophy eye at 1:30 in the middle of the day. Good luck hope this opens some eyes.
Anyone on this website fish the east side if so, how are you guys doing.

I did try fishing next to your house with no success. Maybe it was an off night. Fished from 4-9PM with out even seeing a fish come in on the old Vexilar. Tryed a dead stick and jigging and still saw nothing. On the other hand, fished out of the Garrison end twice now and have done real well on both big eyes and big pike, as well as losing a couple of huge fish (Muskie?). Either early afternoon or 1-3AM on the eyes, otherwise nothing but pike in the morning late evening.

Sorry eyewitness, wish I could of been of some help. We really have killed them there. Glad to hear you found a spot that you could set a few hooks. About the pike my buddie caught a 32 incher out of that house last weekend on a fathead. I dont want you to think I was sending you on a goose chase. Maybe next time eh! Keep me posted, fish on.

fished a south end rock rock hump the last 3 weekends doing well at night from the shallow spot of 10' a 14' flat into the deeper water of 20' caught fish at all depth each weekend. Last Sat night from 11am till 5am on tip ups.The first weekend released a 20+ and a 14Lb northern during the day on large shiners.

Yea a few of us are gonna head out fri night stay till sun. Last weekend gonna give it one last shot. Should be a good time. maybe well see ya up there. Fish on
