C-Map Lake of the Woods

I have a Global Map 2000 and an looking at buying the c-map cartridge for Lake of the Woods. How detailed does this map get? Do you see many of the small islands that are on the lake? Thanks in advance for the input.

It is excellent! I used one during the PWT last year. Every rock and reef along with depths are shown. Paper maps are obsolete.

Where do you think the data for your GPS unit comes from?

And I hope you're not without an "obsolete" paper map if you ever lose power in the middle of Lake of the Woods (and I hope you don't). It's difficult to navigate and distance from a
3 X 5 inch LCD.

Paper maps are here for the long haul, they are the one constant amidst all this electronic gear. Besides, I've still got to feed my kids...and maps make great emergency rain ponchos. Try that with the electronics.
