I spent a few hours this morning getting blown around our local river by a howling southwest wind. I had to go with a 1/2 oz. jig just to make contact with the bottom! The carp a laying pretty thick and I managed to hook several. I thought I had another carp on till I started getting that sweet head-shake. Turned out to be a big-bellied female that taped at almost 29". I'd guess her weight at about 9#. She's still in there! Not a HOG by Erie standards, but for our stream it is. Boy..that felt good! Good Fishing, Sluggo (Chris)

Good show Chris. And here I am just playing with my boat and getting ready to chase perch. I may be up at Seneca on Thursday and if the weather stays good and the fish cooperate I might fish again on Saturday or Sunday. Give a shout if you'll be out.

Bill.

Congrats on the "hog" Chris. That's a beautiful fish out of any body of water. Obviously Bob (a.k.a. Nancy) wasn't there to knock it off with the net.
