Just wondering if anybody knows about the fishing on this lake. Never see anybody fishing it, is there anything in there??

I presume you're referring to Lake Mitchell in Cadillac, Michigan? If so, it's one of the most heavily fished inland lakes in the state - both winter and summer. Offers a virtual smorgasbord of panfish, bass, pike and walleye. Absolutely one of my favorite lakes in the state.

My family and I take our summer vacation there every year. The last couple of years the walleye fishing was slow, but the pike kept us busy. There is also some good crappie fishing in the eastern end of Lake Cadillac. Both Lake Mitchell and Cadillac also has a good number of largemouth and smallmouth bass. We catch most of our fish trolling gold crawler harnesses during the day, and throwing Husky Jerks and Rattlin' Rouges, near the canal, at night.
