please help me I am picking up new boat next friday and need some open water. I have planned this 5 days vacation(that I cannot back out of and go back to work) since last month when it looked as though it was gonna be an early opener for Chamberlain, which I believe is now iced over.

Let me know what all is open including Platte, Pierre, or the Chamberlain area.

Thanks and please keep me informed.

Its far easier to beg forgiveness than ask permision!

There is links to other web sites that have fishing reports for South Dakota. I copied the post below from KTWB.com. The river is open below Big Bend dam. Temperatures are going to be in the 40's this week.

Chamberlain -- "The fish are biting and we've seen nice limits of walleye and sauger come in this week. The boat fishermen are launching up at Fort Thompson and going down to Crow Creek where they're jigging slowly in 20 feet of water. Some sauger up to 19 inches and walleyes to 20 inches are coming in and they are nice fat fish. Jigs and minnows are the best bet," said Dick Tucek at Hillside Motel and Bait in Chamberlain
