I ended up going to Mosquito on Sunday afternoon with my son instead of Pymatuning. The little guy's hands got wet and cold so we weren't out very long. The water temp on my fishfinder read 40.5 deg. Air temp was about the same. I had one fish on for about 10seconds and lost it. We were slooooooow trolling lindy rigs with minnows on the south end in about 6-10ft of water out side of a few spawning areas. I forgot to give it some line after the hit and probably didn't get a good hook set with as much line as I had out. Using the spool with fireline probably would have helped. We left before I had a chance to try some deeper areas, but I talked to a guy at the launch who got one decent fish out deep. He also mentioned having a real good day last week in deeper water using jigs and minnows.
