Is the ice out on the river landing and the bay? How is the walleye bite? I plan on going up next week.
I fish the Menominee quite a bit, and the ice is still froze over hard. The good run will not start for another 2-3 weeks.

According to the reports here

the water is open out to the HWY 41 bridge but the landings are closed yet.
