Can anyone tell me of areas to wade on the Sandusky River? Has anyone been catching any walleye? Are there any web sights dealing with that area? Thanks CW

you can wade in on either side of the river after the old train trestle at the north end of roger young park you can wade from there up to the first traffic bridge (current can be fast at times)after the first traffic bridge you are kind of limited to the east side of the river,the bottom drops out the closer you get to the state street bridge, the bottom is all broken pcs of rock up there from where they changed the course of the river many moons ago. (can be hazardous to wade depending on river levels ). GOOD LUCK
Just returned from Fremont.The river is at least five feet above normal and still going up,totally unfishable.Fished the Maumee this morning,the water was low but rising.Caught three jacks by 8 a.m.
