Where's the hot bite?

Where are they biting? DePere,Wis Rvr,Miss Pool 5&6 ? Heading out tomarrow,wondering where the best bite is....?

Well I guess I can tell now since it has been going on for 4 months . The Hot Bite in southwest Ohio has been in a very small lake 960 acres 5 min. from downtown Dayton Ohio ,which the great state of Ohio seen fit to stock with saugeye for the last 10 or so years . Limit just about everytime I have went , which is about 4 times a week and both days on the weekend . Crankbaits in Nov Dec and Jan , jigs and a minnow Feb and March . 4 of us caught 21 in three hours yesterday , all about 16 to 18 inches biggest 22 1/2 inches .

CJ That wouldn't happen to be one of the MetroPark lakes in Dayton would it? I know of one which they have been stocking saugeye the past few years and it has a good population. Or could it be CJ Brown in Springfield? Caught a few nice ones there last year. Are you from around the Dayton area?

Yes it is the Metro Park . I feel so much better now that I have told someone , greed nothing but greed kept me from spilling the beans .

NEXT TIME YOU GO FISHING THERE. You might be kicking yourself in the butt for not staying greedy. I have a honey hole myself. But I'm staying greedy. I've seen first hand what happens to your honey holes when you let the word out. When I catch some nice fish. I hold them up to the sky and give thanks. Then reach over my head and pat myself on the back. Then when any one asks how I did I just Let out a big burp and say Ohh, I got skunked. Then e-mail um a pic of me holding up some nice eyes. NOOOOOOOO, Just kidding guys and gals. I hear the ice is off Clear lake, Iowa. and all the lakes south of there. I have heard of a couple of nice fish being caught at Brushy lake from a shore angler a couple of days ago. Starting to get a few eyes and small northerns below the dams along the desmoines river . But the water is real low. Happy easter. "COMA"
