WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU GUYS KNOW THE FORECAST FOR OAHE? PLANNING A TRIP IN LESS THAN 3 WEEKS AND HOPING FOR ICE OUT BY THEN. ANY IDEAS OR SUGGESTIONS? THANKS!!
There are some pretty big open areas by Mobridge and south of Pollock. This will allow the ice to start moving when the wind is blowing and it tends to break up pretty fast after that. Normal ice out at this end of the lake seems to be between the 15th and 22nd of April but I think it will be earlier this year. We didn't have near the ice we normally do.

where are you planning your trip to? What part of the river? Some of the creek arms are still very frozen. I think in a few weeks you should be fine. We need the water temp to increase, so the spawn will start.
