Hey gang,
We are holding the 4th annual Max Streichert, Kids-First, Fishing Fest on Saturday Feb 10th. Last year we had 375 kids and their accompanying parents come out and share the fun. The location is the same as always, about 100 yards off the Kipling Public Access in Gladstone MI, on the ice. Just look for the tents.
If you are interested in bringing you kids for a day of fun food and Prizes, as well as allowing them to learn an exciting aspect of our sport, E mail me and I will give you contact info.
As to the prizes, as always we are expecting another huge turnout. We are always looking for help to that end. Especially for little items for the grab bags. Every kid that enters receives a grab bag with a few lures and things in it. If you would like to donate tackle, jigs, line clippers, ice jigs, jigging spoons etc, e mail me and I can give you a mailing address where to send the items. They will need to be mailed no later than Mon or Tues of next week.
