4/12/02 - Fished the afternoon/evening with my 7 year old son. Stayed in the west end of the lake. Tried to get the eyes to hit my Husky Jerks and deep divng Rogues but could only entice the Spotted bass to bite. Water temp was about 52.

4/14/02 - Fished with my son, his friend and dad. Started at the dam, got schooled by my son as he caught eyes on a Lindy Rig and minnow. I was still throwing the stickbaits trying to get a hog. Water temp was 48 at the dam. Finished the day in the west end of the lake catching smallies and crappie on cranks and plannerboards.

The water temp is picking up, just wish the water level was.

Only two fish yesterday. One walleye and one smallmouth in 18' at the point just west of the north end of the #####. The walleye was a male full of milt....Still spawning? Or found my friend cute....Pulling bouncersanf minnow spinners. No luck with jigs.
