Have a 7520 and wouldn't have anything else!!! Have seen all the others perform and will take mine any day. See's the closest to real time of any of them. Because they own the patent on it. Ask Grandpa Joe on this sight, he's a whole lot more knowledgeable on them than I am. Hope this helps some. Craig

Great graphs, great motor, and incredible integration of the two.

I have a PinPoint system consisting of the 3700 motor, plus 7500 and 7520 sonars. Great system. Previously had an X85 sonar, and the PinPoint system is much better.

Great system. I like the sonar units well thoughtout features and functions. Flashchart and Nightview are two features that I use a lot. The Flashchart gives you 60 pixels /second = real time depth for when running and the Nightview turns the screen into a "negative" for a great look without being bright. It's so much easier on your eyes it's un-real. Network a couple of units and you've got a winner.
GO PINPOINT!

I've got a 7520 and it works pretty good. I bought this unit to replace a 350A. My opinion is the 350A has a better screen and displays fish better. If I had to do it over again I'd buy lowrance.

I can't even begin to tell you how much I depend on my Pinpoints! I have owned many others and wouldn't trade my Pinpoints for them. The 7520 is by far one of the most advanced units on the market. I have a good friend who runs a Genatron and said his Pinpoints show the same things for a lot less in the money department. Good fishing and don't forget to shoot the puck. Mike Peluso #999

I bought the 3700 trolling motor with the 7500 monitor last year and am very pleased with the system. I did have problems with moisture condensing on the back of the monitor and contacted Pinpoint customer service, returned the monitor and within a total of 20 days I was back on the water with no problems. Since then I replaced my Lowrance X-85 (Which is an excellent unit) with a console mount Pinpoint 7820. My main concern was the real time image at varing boat speeds. The X-85 was near 7-8 pixels per second, the Pinpoint 7500 was nearing 18 pixels per second where as the 7820 was near 60 which I feel is nearing the speed of a flasher. I beieve this is incredible as I now can look away from the monitor and have a history of events which I feel is much more and better technology than the flasher.

I humbly disagree...

Last year before the PWT on Lake Sharpe I spent some time on the river below the dam and ran some 30' areas without current with my Lowrance X-70 (350 w/o GPS option). In this area there are large schools of shad that always came back to me as large grey balls so to speak along with other assorted "hook" and "half moon" returns. A week later with Mike Jensen, those "balls" of shad were 500 individual shad!! Alas, a month later I had two 7520's and haven't looked back since...

I really did like my X-70, but it wasn't that close to the 7520 in my opinion. You get better definition, faster return time, flashchart, ability to scroll back 18 screens (while READJUSTING!!!) and on and on..

Go Pinpoint, you won't be sorry. No opinion on the new Lowrance stuff, but I'm sure that's good too.

Nope, not on Pinpoint's staff. I wish I was though!

Another proud owner of a 3700/7520 package and the only comment that hasn't been brought up is that they are upgradeable. I have an older (3 years) machine and would be in the dust if it wasn't for the upgrades. I have sent my graph in twice to keep it up to date on the latest technology; cost $49. per upgrade. Does any other graph on the market offer this technology?????? None that I am aware of. So you can have and continue to have the most up to date graph on the market if you so choose to do so at minimal cost.
