Im thinking of using 3x "extra strong" 8lb.fenwick tippet material,for rigging and deep jigging,any comments, thanks!

Do they give a "pound test" on the spool? It'll be just fine if it meets your weight requirements. Remember, tippet material is stiffer than conventional fishing mono.

Tippet material is not only stiffer but is more brittle as there is no stretch to it. Not sure that the stiffness may kill some of the action of the jig. I don't really see any advantages to it plus a higher cost. Tippet material was designed for flyfishing with the stiffness and no stretch to aid in casting.
