Any reports from this area? Planning to fish the area this weekend. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

It is slow right now due to the cold weather. Also fisherman are having a great deal of trouble catching slot fish at waubay. Rumors are that with all the pressure, very few slot fish remain in the lake. As far as I know, there isn't much of a bite going on anywhere in NE/SE South Dakota.

Take a look at the test netting reports on the SD GFP web site. Most of the fish are 10-15" and there are very, very few fish left over 20". Rumors have been going around about a 2 fish limit there to try to bring the population up and different slots to try to make people keep small fish, and maybe one big one.
