I need help. I have 5 people coming in this weekend expecting to catch some fish!... their coming from Arizona...ohio...and Michigan! It looks like there is a good possabillity we won't be able to get out on the lake because of this wind. I live by Port Clinton. Is there anything going on in the Sandusky bay or anywheere else? Can anyone suggest a backup plan? We will have 2 16.5 foot Alluminum boats. Thanks for any help .
Jess
I'll give you some advice. As for a back up plan.Stay off the Lake with your little alum 16.5 boats and just go to the GIRLY BARS!!!

friday looks real good to me, fish anywhere you like
LOl. Girly boats! Thats nice. I live here and grew up on Lake Erie. My boat dose fine and doubles as a hunting boat during the hunting season...allowing me to put her up on shore among the rocks. Good luck doing that with a fragile fiberglass boat. She runs 35 mph on a calm lake and many of my areas are over 20 NM away. I make runs like that regulary .... fish all day...and back on 6 gallond of gas.
Say what you like but I think I have the worlds perfect all around boat for an outdoorsman.
Go LUND,
Jess
Oops I see it says girly bars not boats.
Terry I hope your right. Hopefully we'll get out. Hopefully it will be nice out. I just have so many visitors coming I was trying to get a back up just in case.
Thanks,
Jess

Jess,
I sent you an email too, but depending on wind direction you could trailer your boats over to South Bass or Kelleys via the Ferries.
Good Luck,
Steve

I heard of some nice perch and a few bass being taken in the island area. If you take Steve's advice and ferry to Kellys or South Bass, the worst you could do in a big blow situation is stay tucked in a protected area and fish for bass or perch. Good Luck.
If you really want to catch alot of fish, try the Maumee.I've been pounding white bass and a few leftover walleyes the last couple of days.Good luck,Doc.
Hey thanks everyone. I'll keep praying and hope the latest weather report holds. It may be a nice weekend afterall.
Good luck,
Jess
Thanks Steve. Hopefully we'll get out. I'll let ya know how we do.
Almost there!
Jess
Jess if lake is to bad you might want to try mosquito resivior. Has a great population of fish and you can use many different presentations to catch them. you can troll, or jig, drift with live bait on the bottom. also the fish taste pretty good out of this body of water. It makes for a pretty good day.

Does anyone back there know where a guy can get some sandworms? I,m originally from Indiana and use to catch eyes on them. I live in Colorado now and since we don't have many oak trees, nobody knows where to get them or what they are. Will pay premium to get them and a bag of oak leaves shipped out.
p.s. Hope to get some eyes B4 the reservoirs run dry. We're having our worst drought since the fifties. If U visit, bring H2O.
