My family and I are considering a summer trip to Winnibigoshish. Is there a slot limit on the lake? Any suggestions for resorts?

Yes there is a slot limit on Winnie, it has been in effect for one season. The slot is currently at 17" to 26"s.
As far as resorts go, Judds on the south end is nice. In Cutfoot you have the Cutfoot Sioux Inn, Williams Narrows Resort, Eagle Nest Lodge, and Bowens Resort.
Whats nice about staying in Cutfoot is that you can always fish regardless of the weather.

faces winnie the docks are on CutFoot. As T
has said staying on cut foot will give you the
best of both worlds. If you have kids they will
love it Bowens has activities all week that
they can do. Just a nice place. You can find
several places on the WEB.

The slot limit has turned to be the best thing they could have done for winnie. I also take my family there every summer. We have stayes at High banks, but our #1 choice is Northland lodge. They have a well protected harbor, pool and nice cabins. And depending on what you are after as far as fishing, you won't have to go far. If you do a search for them you'll find their site.
