I haven't fished the bay on Presque Isle for year's,I'm no help to you, other than saying where I've caught them in the past.(Was that a run on sentence,or what?)I know that the fish have been caught in the bay, around the one launch. The pier was another spot we used to fish, and just inside the pier area.Fish in the vicinity of spawning spot's,with a deep spot to hold them,or a decent flat to feed on near the spawn site.I've been told the fish migrate from the eastern basin,in spring toward's the central basin in early to mid summer, then to the western basin later. The water get's gradually deeper as you move from east to west,as I'm sure you know this.I've resolved this year to hit the big water more, simply put;it's a Walleye factory, and the time is right.

this is from a few of the locals, not much happening in the bay right now, but out in the lake i hear around 65 feet the perch are hitting, keep in mind this is 2nd hand info.
