Am thinking about making the trip the first weekend of June. It will be my first trip to Angostura. Anybody been fishing it? Sure would like a report.
I was at Angostura on May 3. Water was 47 degrees. I fished for five hours and picked up one nice Smallmouth. I tried shallow, mid depths and deep.
A friend of mine went down the next day and picked up a 4 lb wally using a crank bait. It was his only fish all day. We are still waiting for the water to warm up.
