Lindy rigging with either of these lines make a difference? Will be using 6 lb. leader of one of these. Whats the best? Thanks alot all you walleye hunters.

For materials, I'd be sure to get the Seaguar leader material. Be careful, they also market a "reel filler" version of their flourocarbon. I've tried both, and the original leader (more expensive) stuff is definately tougher. Also harder to knot, though.

I picked up some 10lb Seaguar last year and tied some snells. I think it gave me an edge. I decided to go with the heavier line, since it is pretty much invisible anyway. I use 10/4 fireline on my spinning rig that I use for the live bait rigging. I figured that I didn't need a 6lb weaker link if I didn't have to. I found that the Seaguar line is pretty tough stuff. I also like the fact that it is a bit stiffer than mono. The mono snells I have had a tendancy to have their own memory and caused a few tangles (especially when you have a couple of young boys.

Check out P-line for use as a leader material. It is available in Cabela's.
