GOING TO PIERRE MONDAY MAY 20 AND WOULD LIKE INFO FROM ANYONE WHO HAS FISHED UP ON THE CHEYENE RIVER THIS WEEK.

My best friend fished there(Cheyenne River) yesterday, and caught a total of 3 walleye. 16, 17, and 18 inches long. He said that he thinks the bite should take off on Lake Oahe in the next week or 2, and I agreed. He fished 5 to 15 foot of water and the water temp was 44 degrees. If the bite isn't on up there when you get here, I'd make the trip back down to Sharpe. The fishing near Pierre, from the Bad River on down bluffs has really been on fire this last month. Also, watch for rocks when your there(Lake Oahe). The water is down, and there are Rocks the size of VW's under the surface! Last year on Lake Oahe that Rock could been 20 feet down, and this year 2 inches under the water. Be careful or it could be a very expensive fishing trip.
