Was wanting to know if anyone is having any luck off Ashtabula. I was out Monday and had a quiet lake. Caught too many gobeys and only 15 perch. I was at 49' straight off the lighthouse and was going nuts with the gobeys and moved in to 42' and caught perch, but slow. Saw a pack of boats a few miles out and don't know how they were doing. Not wanting to go that far in small boat.

Thanks, Papaboat

I was in the pack out at 54ft. Same story. I got a dozen perch but they were the biggest average bag bag I've seen 12 fish wieghed nearly 7lbs. The smallies are doing well in 15-25 ft off saybrook park. Sunday I tried for walleye off redbrook trolling 60ft in to 20 ft and back again. On strike at 58 ft but lost it. No daytime walleye yet for me.
