Has anyone been picking up fish near the bass islands or near kelleys?Im going up next week and hope to hit it right especially with the kids.Any tips or hotspots would be greatly appreciated.

Perch fishing has been excellent around Ballast Island, and on the east side of Kelly's. Walleye fishing has not been good around the Bass Islands. Most productive area is west of West Sister Island along the ditch.
If you are looking for action for younger kids I would suggest you fish for the perch around the islands. Good Fishing.
