Heading to whitlocks area next week but have never fished up there any advice or reports?

I fish Whitlocks a lot. Each spring it is ussaly very good along the shore in front of Bob's old resort. Fish there and if that's not the best fish down river under the 212 bridge and try the first bay on your right. Last year trolling with jigs and minnows was hard to beat.
