The water level came up enough in Yellowtail (BigHorn Lake) to use Barry's Landing. The water is dirty. Talked to one boat that found clear water at marker 17 but only had three eyes. Some nice cats were caught up the lake in dirty water.

What's the floating debris situation down there? With the water coming up eight feet in just a few days, I imagine there are branches, stumps and whole trees floating in there waiting to grab my boat. What have you heard? -- mark

Mark - The trash wasn't to bad. There were at least twenty boat trailers in the parking lot. The river is dropping a bit here but there is still some trash in it. Nothing like it was a week ago though. If you want to fish the lake I would suggest that you don't wait to long. I don't think that the water will stay up for long.
