iatag thanks for the advice on the archieves. good info. I'll be going for the ml as I said I do an equal amount of rigging and jigging. thanks again

Good luck with it Terry! I really wanted to try the ML but just thought the bottom bouncers I often use might be a little too much for it. I hope I don't sacrifice much sensitivity with the heavier model. Only time on the water will tell.
This will be my first experiement with nicer equipment. I'll have better insights on my next rod purchase. It sure helps to hear the opinions of more experienced fishermen out on this site.
