Fished Kelleys Island with my family the 7th,8th and 9th and didnt do all that well.Moved out to the west near starve island reef and caught some really quality fish,6 in all in a couple hours on the 7th.The water was pretty choppy that day and we did well on bouncers and 3 foot harnesses.Marked lots of fish around Kelleys south side but couldnt do anything with them due to the flat water conditions.Did lose a brand new Okuma convector linecounter on a 9 foot daiwa trd rod.Troll deep out of marblehead east harbor straight for south bass in 25 foot and you might pull it up.Im still sick.My son cheered me up when he said "could have been all four DAD "He was right and Im glad he saw the good side of the situation.Sunday headed to Catawba State park ramp four 4 more hours of fishing before the ride home.What a Zoo.Picked up 3 walleye and 3 perch trolling with 3 rods 1.0 mph (trolling motor) 1 and a half oz. bouncers and harnesses.All in all had a good trip,the kids had fun and thats all tha matters really.Thank you Dean {DENIED} for all your tips and advice.
