I will be at Lake Vermillion (Tower, MN) from 7/11/02-7/15/02 and was wondering what parts of the lake I should fish for Walleye and Northern? I'm there for a wedding, so time is limited, but I am hoping to get in 2 full days.
Thanks,

I would focus on the reefs and islands in Big Bay. Here is one well known huge one that holds fish all summer is easy to find. Line up 3 islands in Big Bay w/ Potato being the on the west. Travel east along the line of the 3 islands until the lighthouse appears from behind a 4th island. The lighthouse is on Pine Island. The reef should top out around 15' up from 25-30'.

Otherwise, keep an eye on you graph and fish any hump in the larger bays. Avoid shorelines and points except at night.

Looks for shallower weedlines and crank them during low light. This wont produce numbers, but you can manage some bigger fish.
