Were planning a trip for some walleye fishing this weekend in the Geneva/Mentor area. We'd appreciate any fishing reports. Thanx in advance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

67' of water between Mentor and Eastlake has been doing 8 to 15 fish a day. All nice fish between 6 and 11 pounds. Active fish are suspended about 40' down.

This is the first I have heard of an East move. I am considering a tow tomorow. Is there a ramp you can give me directions to and a local bait shop. Any specifics that you can give will be helpfull.

:) THANKS 'EYE' FOR THE REPLY. WHAT WOULD YOU SUGGEST AS A PRESENTATION? WE'RE ABLE TO RUN BOARDS, DIPSEYS (FIRELINE AND WIRE) AND RIGGERS. ALSO, ARE HARNESSES PRODUCING OR STICKBAITS DOING THE TRICK? ANY INFO WOULD BE HELPFUL !! THANK YOU AGAIN !! MAVERICK ON THE SIDE.

I just called up Grand Rivers Tackle (440-352-7222) in Fairport Harbor. They said the same as Maverick for location, but the numbers of fish are not there-yet. They said to take a 333 degree heading out of the dock and hit 67' of water. Perch are 40-50'

Small dipsys off the boards with Stinger spoons has been doing well. Confusion and shrimp have both done well. 23 to 30 line east west in 67' to 70' has been good.

Rte 2 east to the Fairport exit. GO about 1 mile north to Grand River Tackle. They will provide you with directions to a ramp.
