I am planning a trip to Devils Lake, ND around the 4th of July. I haven't been to the lake since '94. Can anyone give me some idea of where to start. As I understand there is alot of "new" water to fish.
Thanks!!

You will be shocked by how much water there is to fish. I was up there 10 days ago and had a great day of catching quality walleyes. At this time the best fishing is on the west end of the lake on the Minnewauken Flats, Pelican Lake, Mauvee Coulee, and Graham's Island areas. You may want to check out the fishing reports from Ed's Bait and other resorts on www.fishingbuddy.com. I will be back up there early next week, and I will post on fishing buddy and if I can find this post I will post here, also. Ed's has the new Pro Pointer maps for $10, and I would get ahold of that map, as it marks by the name the popular fishing spots.
