Mouth of Detroit river rated excellent for Walleye. Many handliners, I was the only jigger in the the area. Started fishing after 9:00am and had my limit by 12:00 on Thursday. However, too many fishing boats will scatter the fish, so get out there while you can.

Metro Beach has been slow, as well as in front of the 400 club. Picked up two Walleye on Saturday using trolling tactics with nitecrawlers. Talked to a couple other guys at the launch and they got two drifting, and five on the previous Saturday. Overall it seems to be hit or miss. Note, on Sunday there was at least 300 boats on the water, at least in the general area I was trying to fish. :)

Any perch action going yet?

Got a midweek report on perch and apparently some nice fish are already being caught north west of the St.Clair light (marker 24?). He was supposed to go yesterday and give me a report today but haven't heard from him yet,he probably partied after the hockey game and is paying for it just like I am.(10labatts blues for 10 stanley cups) If I hear any other reports I will post before I leave work today. Hope this helps ><> ><> ><> AL GO WINGS!!!!!!!!

MarbleEye:

When you say the mouth of the river do you mean where it flows into Erie or the source at St Clair?

Hey Bud, how about using a differnet user name? That one is already taken. Thanks.

But the fishing reports are always welcome :)
