Could anyone give me a report on the walleye and bass in the area. Also are the mayflies hatching and what effect will that have on the fishing.

Just got back last night and the mayflies are going. Had them all over the sides of the tent and boat and truck yesterday morning. That would explain what I saw on the graph on Monday. Till the blow over the weekend it was decent fishing on the lake. We had a great day on Friday WSW of Green 2-3 mi. Took fish on gold spinners and gold colored cranks 1.4mph.

The blow came in on the weekend and we stayed ashore. Mon. we got out and the fishing had definately changed. Fishied NW of "C" about 2 mi. Water was still about 3' visibility and clearing on Tues. Watched what appeared to be clouds of bait/actually mayflies come off the bottom and marked numbers of fish in and around these clouds. Eyes are eating big time I think. We managed a few fish on gold spinner/bouncer and Pa's. I'd say the big hatch is days away!

Just my .02. Good luck!
