Fished Fri. 21st. South of causeway/orchard area. 40+- walleye for the day. Didn't bring any home, still a few in freezer. Definately 2 limits. Very slow start first walleye @ 11 am - took forever to find the hungry ones. Fishing was excellent after everyone went home. Caught fish steady from 11 - 3pm - saw others catching fish also. Drifted and ancored in 15-16'. Gotta find the fish, throw a marker and work hard if you want to catch them. Plenty of perch - too many for my liking, a few crappie, and even bluegill. Had two brakeoffs on very large fish - walleye???? Good luck to all. Ps Couldnt catch anything trolling.

thanks for the report....

My hopefully soon to be over truck troubles should allow me to get back on the water.....Trani blew 4-27 and is still out of commission. Looooong story, after threatening, saying I was gonna sue, the bozo should have it done on Tuesday, so I plan to hit a chevy/gmc dealership immediately....

Hoping to have a new truck to pull the boat back out to Pymy by this weekend.....

WWG, Thanks for the offer, might be pouring footers on Mon. wont know untill Mon. am.. Feel free to call for anything. Pretty busy w/ house project. Hope for a northern wind, drift and keep it simple - hook and split shoot. Good luck and don't forget a few O.M.16's - they work every time!!! Will be up for a trip the following week - let me know.

Steely123 - Did the truck make the trip? How was the fishing?

Hey, Enest H....I did good. 5 keepers. Trollin' the hotties in the stump field. watermelon and perch colors.

The truck did good. I got it back, drove it from E. Cleve down to Ravenna and the check engine light came on. So I pulled it in my drive, washed it, vacumed(sp?) it out, disconnected the battery lead to re-set the computer check engine light, called off work the next morning and traded it in on a brand new GMC 2500HD. It's a 3/4 ton with a 6.0 liter engine and trailering/tow suspension pkg. and hitch. I love it.

I plan to head back at least two days this week, I have wed thru Sun off so maybe 3 times ?....

so keep the reports coming guys.....the warmer water is definately making it a challenge....

Hey...Art and I fished M0nday 7/1 not 6/30 as reported...90 degrees.Nothing trolling..A bummer for me but didn't stick with it..Put fish in the cooler with slow drift flor. carbon leader with floating jig heads and little gremlin twist on lead sinkers 18 in. above..Also slow troll with bottom bouncers and rigs I tied..Lots of perch, a crappie, bluegill, and walleyes for Arts' freezer.. Tough fishing..Got off the lake at 7:30 pm when I should have been getting on!!!..Thanks for the info on your last trip as it helped..Will be surf fishing the week of the 8th at Fenwick Island, Del...Too hot for OM 16's plus getting too old..Getting too old for this boat also!! But a good trip..Will be back in the office the 15th..Good luck with the house..WWG
