View Full Version : Any Experiences With This Boat.............
I have the opportunity to by a 1994 Lund Pro Angler from a friend. I have never seen this boat and all the info I have is that it is in very good condition, approx 16'10" long, has side counsel with a 60hp merc. Is this a big enough motor? Does anyone have any experience fishing out of this type of boat and What would a fair price to buy this boat, motor and shorelandr trailer.
That's a nice boat, maybe a little underpowered at 60HP, but OK. My neighbor has the same model, with a 75HP, and it fishes really well with two aboard and can handle three without much crowding.
Can't comment on price.

Anything worth doing, is worth doing for money.
A few of my friends have owned them. A very good starter boat. You can usually pick these up at a good price. The one thing about them that some guys don't like is the flat bottom.

I have a 1991 Lund Pro V 1660 which I have had no problems with. I now have a 90 HP Evenrude Ficht ( no discussion please ) and before that I had a 90 HP Johnson on it for 8 years. My boat is rated for a 100 HP which I assume yours may also be? I wouldn't have any thing less but then it all depends on the type of fishing you do and how your boat is rigged. I also have a 8 HP kicker with many extras. The 60 HP may do you just fine i just like the 90 HP set up better.
