It went well, had 14 folks that showed up. We fished, swapped stories, fished, had a lunch(brats/pops)on the ice, fished, and I think everyone had a good time. Had dinner together Sat. evening, more stories and some friendship bonding. Looking for the next one. I hope to put one together for late summer-early fall on Lake of the Woods. Hope you can make it. Pictures were sent to Scott, hope to have them put on the mainpage in the "get-together" link.

Lake of the Woods? Now you've got my interest.. Who, what, where and when. We're all making our final plans now for summer trips. Does anyone have specifics?

I'd like to see this become an annual event.. who knows, I might be able to make the next one.

Hey it was great fun. The perch were willing to bite but the wally were far between. The rain that fell the Mon. before made the snow that was there real hard so getting around even in 4X4 was tough. I bet I shoveled 6X's to get out on 5/7/8 flats when we were exploring. Eddies is a real nice motel and pretty good food. The people there were real nice and my sons and I thought the time was real fun.
Meeting all the people from this site was a treasure and I hope we can do it again.
Fond memories never end!!!

Fantastic job Scott..... Thanks so much for that great page. I'll be checking the tournament schedules for the summer and putting together a 3 or 4 day get-together late in the summer/early fall. Several people have already contacted me about that possibility. I hope that you are able to attend that one, I know that everyone would really like to meet you and get to know each other. More information to come in early April about the summer/fall get-together.

Scott, i think it's pretty cool you let people post their story and pics, it sure was nice to see some faces that i only know from words.

What were ya doin' out on those flats....shoulda been down south of Rainbow Island with the rest of us!!! Just kiddin', of course :)
A get together this fall sounds great, but I'll have to see how my time shakes out. I'm gonna be up on Eagle Lake near Dryden the third week of August, so I may have a bit of a time crunch!
