I saw on tv that bull sharks have been found 200 miles up the mississippi, as far as st louis. If I remember correctly, also I think any shark can bare fresh water, , the discovery channel is awesome! there was a great white in NJ at the turn of the century that killed and ATE something like 8 people in a freshwater creek that feed's the atlantic

I tried to get a trolling program going for sharks today but I couldn't find any stinger spoons in "copper small dog" pattern.

Buckeye:

Do you tip those spoons with anything? Somebody once told me roadkill possum innerds rendered in the sun for 3 days prior to use will catch all the Lake Erie strain of Bull Sharks you can reel in.

Hey that trolling program is only effective when following a strict interpretation of the the "true" Rules Of The Road". All other times it is totally ineffective!!! :)

Tipping spoons with innards may help. Tracy a collision here and there seems to attract them especially if there is blood involved.

Actually the People In New York refer to it as Madam Senator.

If that would have happened in South Dakota, Marty the local CO would have given the individual a ticket for having one over the limit especially if it was caught at Lake Alvin or Wall Lake the number one bullhead fisheries in South Dakota.

What if...........they have entered the walleye breeding chain........! We may find 4' walleyes with dorsal fins following our boats next spring.....!

Imagine how big that thing could have got with a good fill of perch and s@itheads every day , makes you wonder whats down there, I remember reading reports of "huge " something's surfacing in the evening (thought to be sturgeon) with the problems we are having with zebras, lampreys, gobies, you shouldnt be suprised if we o find something BIGGER

Just like a bunch of walleye guys. Somebody catches a giant smallmouth, and as ferocious as they are...you all immediately think SHARK.

This shark thing is fun. I put a pic of my 11 foot gator in the marina with a note saying i got it off the SE corner of kelleys on a perch spreader and two different women thought it was true.
Just wondered if you needed to keep the skin on the shark to transport it home.

I'll be out Friday - might just drag a surfboard with a couple of mannequin legs dangling off it behind the boat and see if I can generate some surface action....

Bull Sharks were found in Lake pepin a couple years ago as well. They found a large one inside of a truck that had fallin thru the ice. Also they found a couple juveniles in Minihaha creek. There is an article online if you google it.
