Since this is a 2 day derby do we have to have the fish weighed in on both days? Should we be at the check in place on Saturday by 4 for the weigh in? So everything is at Andover beach and not at Linesville on Sunday? I sent an email to the lake association but still haven't got a responce. I also pre registered and hope it was received, I didn't get a confirmation that the registration was received. Sounds like it's going to be a fun weekend, my son is really looking forward to it.

If you catch, let's say a perch on Sat. that measures 8ins.and you check him in on Sat. then Sun. your son goes out and catches a9in. perch you can also have him measured which will erase the 8incher on Sat.The largest fish in each categorie is the winner, but remember there is prizes for all kids win or lose. have fun LCL

Have to tell you that was one of the best times I had with my son. That's a great organization. We all had a great time. I couldn't believe how many prizes they had for the kids and all the activities. I was wondering if they were going to place results anywhere? I know the kids would get a thrill out of that.
Thank you for the info you provided. I found the duck and drake and may be stopping to see you for some leadcore advice, I want to give it a try.

Wallhanger 2 local papers were there, should be many pictures in there papers. Glad you and your son had a good time stop in anytime and we can talk. LCL

I'd like to get a copy of the papers, which ones are they? I live down around Pittsburgh so I don't have access to the papers any idea where I might get a copy?

Lcl, I also would like to thank you for bringing the kids fishing derby to my attention my son and I had a great time, My son finished second in the 6 to 10 bass category (not my choice)I'd also like to say it was good to finally meet you, maybe when your not so busy I'll stop in. I planning on being up there the week of the 19th with lead core in hand.
Maybe you could answer a question for me, I was planning on buying a cabela's leadcore rod do you know anything about these rods? what about there leadcore line? I have a penn 209 reel is this sufficient? any help is appreciated.
The Pymatuning area news has about 20 pictures of the kids derby there will be an article in a pennsylvania paper but i don't know which one yet. Your penn 209 reel will do just fine as for cabella's leadcore rods i don't know much about them but there leadcore is fine see you in a couple of weeks. LCL
