Taking a family vacation beginning next saturday near caseville, has there been any walleye action in that area lately ie: charity islands or the slot. may try for perch if the walleye aren't bitting any reports would be appreciated.

The entire bay has been good for walleye the last few weeks including the areas you are speaking of. I have been doing best running 3/4oz Pa's in green, firetiger, watermelon or purple color patterns. The key is to keep them moving slooowww. I would say between 1 and 1.25 has been best.
