I currently have a Pinpoint 7520 and an Lowrance X-85 what would be the best set up, the X-85 on the bow and the 7520 on the dash or 7520 on the bow and the X-85 on the dash?
Presuming you also have a PinPoint trolling motor, put the 7520 in the bow since you will want to take advantage of the motor control features in the 7520 while fishing.
If you do NOT have a Pinpoint motor, I'd still use the 7520 at your fishing station because of the larger screen, scrollback, and other features.

for a dreamer lives forever, and a toiler dies in a day.
From the sleepless thoughts endeavor, I would go where the children play;
For a dreamer lives forever, And a thinker dies in a day."

I would put the 7520 on the dash and the X-85 on the bow. The 7520's larger sceen size will be easier to see from the back of your boat and it has excellent bottom definition when searching for fish or baitfish. I also like the flashchart for running at high speed. Both are excellent graphs. JC
