Has anyone ever been to Red Pine Resort on Lake Kabetogama? Me and some buddies are going there in mid june, and just reserved it from the internet. We don't know what to expect, other than good fishing on Kabetogama, from what I have heard. I'm just wondering if anyone knows about the resort, is it clean?, in a good location to fish the lake? I've been told its around mid lake, hopefully close to some hot spots. Thanks for any input. Also we will be taking boats with us, both boats have 50 hp motors. Any other lakes we should try in the area? We hope to catch some walleys, northern, smallies, and some jumbo perch and crappie.

I believe that resort is by the Wooden Frog public landing. My father inlaw has a cabin between Ash lake and Kap. so we fish both. Ash for the Crappies and Kap. for eye's. I just got off the phone with my fishing partner and are planning our June trip. We may be in the area June 6th - 10th or 13th - 17th.
Great lake no matter where you are.

T.Ryan, I'm going to be at VNP about the same time doing a houseboat trip out of Ebel's. Question: Would you head to Kab or Namakan that time of year for walleye?
